The Babies Website was founded by Peter Walker, an internationally accredited and widely respected teacher of Developmental Baby Massage who has pioneered the practice of Developmental Baby Massage for babies and children from the 1980s onwards and has been working with mothers and babies for over 40 years.
Our certificated teacher training courses are enjoyed by health visitors, nursery nurses, midwives, massage and many other therapists working with mothers and babies. These teacher training courses attract professionals from all around the world; where we support the parent-child relationship and the well-being of mothers and babies from conception to childhood. We teach massage and movement to mothers, fathers, partners and babies, with a focus on unique early intervention techniques for those babies with developmental delay or poor developmental prognosis.
We offer two types of certificated Teacher Training Courses accredited by FEDANT .
Developmental Baby Massage Teacher Training Course
This is a two-day intensive course that covers the six key aspects of Developmental Baby Massage and provides an unparalleled educational experience for professionals that are aiming to teach Developmental Baby Massage.
This teacher training course includes high-quality learning aids including filmed case studies and slides, and resources given as well as a copy of Developmental Baby Massage film, and updated course notes for all delegates and session notes for parents.
Upon successful completion of the course, all delegates will receive a certificate accredited by FEDANT.
Mother and Child Soft Postnatal Yoga Course
This is a two-day certificated, comprehensive, therapeutic course for health professionals which covers all key aspects of Postnatal Yoga and provides an exceptional educational experience for professionals that are aiming to incorporate these techniques into their practice.
This teacher training course includes key resources such as 3 teaching DVDs and a copy of Peter’s latest book ‘Child Alive’ as well as updated teachers’ course notes.
Alongside this, Peter specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of developmental delay, cerebral palsy, and Prader–Willi syndrome and offers one-to-one online or in-person-based rehabilitation workshops aimed at treating these issues.
